LeadDesk acquires the eDialog24 solution and strengthens its position in Norway
11/04/2024
LeadDesk continues its strategy to strengthen its Nordic home market by acquiring the Norwegian communications solution eDialog24 from eDialog24 AS in a trade sale. The acquisition will strengthen LeadDesk’s position in its largest operational country Norway and deepen the company’s customer base, especially in the financial and public sectors. In addition, eDialog24’s customers will benefit from access to LeadDesk’s advanced AI-powered product portfolio, including conversational AI solutions designed to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
eDialog24 AS has been serving corporate customers for more than 20 years, providing communication and customer service solutions, especially to the financial and public sectors. Its established product and strong position as a provider of regulatory-critical services support LeadDesk’s growth strategy in the consolidating European CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) market.
The business acquisition is a clear, strategic bolt-on acquisition aimed at expanding the customer base and deepening relationships with existing customers. Nearly half of the acquired business’s revenue currently comes from LeadDesk’s existing customers. The current annual recurring revenue (ARR) from the eDialog24 solution is approximately NOK 6.7 million. The estimated impact of the transaction on turnover for the financial year 2025 is approximately NOK 3 million. The acquisition will have no impact on LeadDesk’s guidance for 2025.
Terms and conditions of the transaction
Enterprise value is approximately EUR 700 thousand, in addition to which the parties have agreed on a maximum additional purchase price of approximately EUR 400 thousand. The transaction will take the form of a trade sale and will not involve any transfer of personnel.
LeadDesk and eDialog24 AS have signed a Transitional Services Agreement (TSA), under which eDialog24 AS will provide technical maintenance and customer support during the transition period.
Olli Nokso-Koivisto, CEO, LeadDesk:
“eDialog24 has served customers in the public administration and financial sector in Norway with a long and successful track record. This deal supports our strategy to strengthen our position in key industry verticals and supports our growth in Norway, which is LeadDesk’s largest operating country. In addition, the strong common customer base will enable us to deepen our customer relationships. We are delighted to have eDialog24 as part of LeadDesk and look forward to the next steps.”
Eljar Ness, CEO, eDialog24 AS:
“We are very proud to have developed and delivered the eDialog24 solution, which has helped create some of the most award-winning contact centers in Norway. In recent years, eDialog24 AS has seen growing demand from customers for comprehensive, all-in-one solutions from a single provider. After several highly successful joint deliveries with LeadDesk, we are confident that LeadDesk is the right partner to take care of both our customers and the eDialog24 solution moving forward. The timing to hand over the baton for the eDialog24 solution is also ideal as our company is now focusing on global distribution opportunities with our new SaaS solution, Youtello. As LeadDesk takes over responsibility for the eDialog24 solution, we are also changing our company name to Youtello AS.”
